International Database Engineered Applications Symposium
IDEAS-II
The symposium provides an international forum for discussion of the problems arising from and thier solutions of engineeringed applications and systems involving not only database and data science technology but the related areas of AI, communication, human machine interface , information retrieval, multimedia, NLP and others. The goal of IDEAS is to foster closer interaction among the industrial, research and user communities and provides an excellent opportunity for them to meet, discuss ideas, examine the current ones and develop new solutions and research directions. Along with the technical sessions, the symposium also features prominent invited speakers.
IDEAS-II series of symposiums are scheduled annually and have been held from 1997 through 2021 in North America, Europe and Asia. It had attracted participants from governmental and non-governmental agencies, industries, and academia to exchange ideas and share experiences. IDEAS-II is continuing this tradition with a new focus a new team.

Note:
The original IDEAS series, after a quarter century and over 25 meetings, has been re-incarnated as this new series. The founding steering committee members of IDEAS are retiring and IDEAS-II, the new series, had its founding meeting in 2022.
